HI, I’M RACHEL SCHENK MARTIN.

I'm delighted to welcome you to my corner of the web, where I specialize in officiating weddings, end-of-life ceremonies, and life cycle ceremonies. With a rich background in psychotherapy and a deep appreciation for the power of ritual and ceremony, I bring a unique blend of compassion, insight, and creativity to every ceremony I facilitate.

MY BACKGROUND

As a psychotherapist, I've spent years guiding individuals and couples through life's challenges and transitions. My educational journey has been diverse, with a master’s degree in relational and family therapy, and an undergraduate degree in psychology, and classical studies. This multidisciplinary approach has given me a profound understanding of human relationships, resilience, and the transformative power of ritual.

In addition to my background in psychotherapy and counseling, I am proud to be a member of the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry. This affiliation allows me to bring a spiritual depth and holistic perspective to my work as an officiant. Drawing upon metaphysical principles and teachings, I am able to offer ceremonies that honor the spiritual dimensions of life's transitions, while respecting and embracing diverse beliefs and traditions. My membership with CIMM reflects my commitment to providing inclusive, spiritually enriching ceremonies that resonate deeply with individuals and families from all walks of life.

Thank you for considering me to be a part of your special day. I look forward to working with you to create a ceremony that honors your journey, celebrates your connections, and marks this momentous occasion with love and reverence.

For me, officiating ceremonies is more than just a profession; it's a calling. I believe that in our fast-paced, modern world, we often overlook the importance of gathering together to honor and celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Whether it's exchanging vows with a partner, bidding farewell to a loved one, or welcoming a new life into the world, these ceremonies provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and connect with what truly matters.

My work is rooted in a desire to build community through shared ritual and ceremony. I believe that these moments of gathering have the power to strengthen bonds, foster connection, and create lasting memories. Whether you're seeking a traditional wedding ceremony, a heartfelt end-of-life tribute, or a unique life cycle celebration, I am here to help you create a ceremony that is authentic, meaningful, and deeply personal.
